Fifth Third batch v4: what shipped on 2026-08-13
The fourth Wednesday of the current Fifth Third quarter. Three new modules on the Fifth Third Utilities shelf, a maintenance pass on Fifth Third Media, a fresh signing certificate. Batch notes.
What landed on Fifth Third Utilities
Three new modules landed on the Fifth Third Utilities shelf: NotifTuner (already covered in last week’s picks), BatteryProfile Pro (root/Shizuku optional) and OfflineMaps Lite. The three of them together add roughly 40 MB to a fully-loaded workspace, or about the size of a single ill-behaved wallpaper app.
Every Fifth Third Utilities module now ships with a documented «offline hour» test: the reviewer runs the module for a full hour with the device in airplane mode and reports on whether any function silently breaks. The results are pinned to the module data sheet.
Maintenance pass on Fifth Third Media
MediaCast v5.3.20 patches a subtitle-burn-in regression that arrived with the previous Fifth Third batch. RingtoneStudio bumps to v5.3.06 with a fix on the normalisation curve for 24-bit sources under −24 LUFS.
The Fifth Third Media shelf now honours the system-level Do-Not-Disturb setting during a rendering job — a small but frequently-requested change.
The new Fifth Third release key
Fifth Third v4 is the first batch signed with the rotated release key introduced at the start of the current quarter. Every enrolled device that ran a v3 module is automatically re-verified on the first sign-in after v4 lands. The old key remains valid for verification of already-installed modules until 2026-10-31.
Numbers
Batch v4 is 87 MB total, spread across 12 modules and 4 shelves. The largest single module is RetroCam Mod at 41.7 MB (film-stock samples), the smallest is NotifTuner at 6.1 MB. The average review time per module on this batch was 4.7 hours of reviewer bandwidth.
Next Fifth Third Wednesday drop
Fifth Third batch v5 lands on 2026-08-20. Two new modules are queued for the Fifth Third Media shelf and a maintenance pass on Fifth Third Photography is scheduled.
